‘Engaging water users' Waterwise

Waterwise  conducts an annual conference on water efficiency. This year’s conference will be held in Oxford on the 21st and 22nd of March, coinciding with the World Water Day. The theme of the conference this year is ‘Engaging water users’. The conference has a great line up of speakers and penetrating panel discussions.

International Water Resource Economics Consortium (IWREC) 10th Annual Meeting

The International Water Resource Economics Consortium (IWREC) is the premiere global platform for water economists to initiate, share, disseminate and debate new research on water economics. The IWREC 10th Annual Meeting (28-29 August) will be hosted by the Stockholm International Water Institute and held during the 2012 World Water Week in Stockholm.

The objective of the Conference is to secure renewed political commitment for sustainable development, assess the progress to date and the remaining gaps in the implementation of the outcomes of the major summits on sustainable development, and address new and emerging challenges

The Conference will focus on two themes: (a) a green economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication; and (b) the institutional framework for sustainable development.

 

AfWA Marrakech 2012 Congress
