A GCCA Global Learning Event (GLE) on “Innovative and effective approaches to climate change: Experiences from the Global Climate Change Alliance” will take place in Brussels from September 12th to 14th 2012.
The main objectives of the GLE are to extract lessons learned from GCCA projects to date, promotion of dialogue and exchange of experiences on climate policies across GCCA partners, looking to informing policy processes at national, regional and international levels and to inform future developments of the initiative.

UN WATER TALKS: IRINA BOKOVA ON THE CURRENT STATE OF WATER DIPLOMACY
On Tuesday 24 April, UNESCO-IHE, in cooperation with the City of Delft and the Delfland Water Board, will host the UN Water Talks. This year’s talk will be held by the UNESCO Director-General, Irina Bokova. She will reflect on the role of the United Nations and UNESCO in mediation and conflict negotiation, and specifically, on the current state of water diplomacy.
