This report presents the Water and Energy Facilities Information System (WEIRS) project. It has been carried out in collaboration between the JRC Environment and Energy Institutes (IES and IE) and the Water and Energy Facility teams of DG DEVCO.

This reports aims to give a comprehensive overview of the work of the Commission's in-house science service, the Joint Research Centre (JRC), in relation to global water challenges.
