The Water Resources Unit carries out modelling- and monitoring-based assessments addressing the evolving vulnerability of the European and global water environment. In our mission water resources
are referred to in the context of the whole water systems of the world (aquifers, lakes, rivers, large marine ecosystems and open oceans) and research addresses their interactions with ecosystems and society. In this context, we are looking for a researcher to contribute to the:
• establishment of an Integrated Water Modeling Platform and associated JRC Water portal as gateway in the WISE-Water Information System for Europe providing now- and forecasting web services
• integration of new web services and development of interfaces between scientific databases and online mapping and data processing systems (e.g. EASIN on alien species, FATE on pollutants, AQUAKNOW on water and sanitation in developing countries, GMIS Global Marine Information System).
