The Dark Side of Water Governance

This special issue on ‘the dark side of governance’ seeks to increase knowledge and reveal new understanding of governance in two meanings: its unknown, hidden side, as well as its darker, obscured side. The shortcomings of governance are illustrated iin this special issue which collects contributions from a wide range of contexts, from the global North and South, and from un- or ill-governed spaces in seemingly rock-solid democracies to so-called fragile states.
