Del 13 al 19 de noviembre de 2011 en Medellín, Colombia, se celebrará el Séptimo Diálogo Interamericano del Agua.
El Gobierno de Colombia, a través del Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sotenible y la Corporación Autónoma Regional del Centro de Antioquia -Corantioquia- con la Red Interamericana de Recursos Hídricos (RIRH), junto a innumerables colaboradores y patrocinadores, están trabajando para que el Diálogo sea el evento más prominente sobre la gestión del agua de las Américas en 2011. Se han unido esfuerzos para que Colombia y las Américas DIALOGUEN sobre el agua, y busquemos juntos un COMPROMISO INTERGENERACIONAL PARA CUIDAR EL AGUA EN LAS AMÉRICAS, que se ha constituido como el tema central de este encuentro.

The Seventh Inter-American Dialogue on Water Management (D7) will be the most prominent water encounter in the region for 2011, gathering a wide myriad of sectors, government officials, nacional and international cooperation agency representatives, stakeholders, and practitioners in water management in the Americas. Organized by the Government of Colombia and the Inter-American Water Resources Network (IWRN), in cooperation with numerous national and international agencies, civil society organizations, academic and research institutions, and the private sector, the D7 will address the need to evolve towards an inter-generation dialogue to embrace water management challenges beyond sectoral barriers that we have built in recent generations. For this reason, the D7 seeks to establish an inter-generational compromise to take care of water.
