The European Space Agency (ESA) is organising the "Sentinel-2 for Science Workshop", which is dedicated to prepare for the scientific exploitation of the Sentinel-2 mission.
The Workshop will be hosted in ESA-ESRIN, Frascati, Italy, on the 20th, 21st and 22nd May 2014.
The Workshop is open to ESA Principal Investigators, Co-Investigators, Sentinel-2 users, scientists, students, representatives from national, European and international space agencies and value adding industries.

Following the recommendations from the Sentinel-2 Preparatory Symposium, the European Space Agency in collaboration with CNES, USGS and BlackBridge, collected an unprecedented time series dataset with a 5-day revisit at high resolution over 14 selected sites around the world.
The time series data sets are available free of charge for Sentinel-2 R&D activities provided by the respective space agency: http://due.esrin.esa.int/s2t5.php
