On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the International Advisory Board, we are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Sixth International Conference on Climate Change: Impacts and Responses and the Call for Submissions to The International Journal of Climate Change: Impacts and Responses.

Dear Colleague, The European Space Agency, the Global Water Systems Project and the Food and Agricultural Organization invite you to a workshop on Earth observations and their contribution to the Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Nexus. The workshop will take place from 25-27 March 2014 at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy. It is aimed at reviewing and synthesizing the current state of Earth observation applications to WEF issues and the information needs of data users from across a range of sectors.

The Stochastic Modeling Techniques and Data Analysis International Conference (SMTDA) main objective is to welcome papers, both theoretical or practical, presenting new techniques and methodologies in the broad area of stochastic modeling and data analysis. An objective is to use the methods proposed for solving real life problems by analyzing the relevant data.

The hub for information dissemination and knowledge exchange in Integrated Water Resources Management in Southern and Eastern Africa

THEME for this year’s symposium: “Building Partnerships and Strengthening Cooperation for Integrated Water Resources Management in East and Southern Africa”.

This event is organized in the framework of the European Commission (EC) support project to the African Union/NEPAD Networks of Water Centers of Excellence implemented by the EC Joint Research Centre (JRC).
This workshop will encounter the joint contribution of the Western and of the Southern NEPAD Networks of Centers of Excellence in Water Science and Technology.
In this final workshop the following themes will be addressed:
  • The NEPAD Western and Southern Africa Water Centres of Excellence

Climate Change 2013: The Physical Science Basis

The Twelfth Session of Working Group I (WGI-12) will take place from 23 to 26 September 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden. This Session of WGI is being convened to approve the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) of the Working Group I contribution to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (WGI AR5) and accept the underlying scientific and technical assessment.
